New Technology for the Laboratory
The Lake of the Woods District Hospital Laboratory has a new tool to help with analysis. The equipment determines the parameters at which blood clots and tests the impact of physician ordered therapies on the clotting of blood. It is widely used in stroke cases and in diagnosis of patients with blood disorders.
The Hospital Foundation is proud to have transferred $38,323 from collected donations to bring this technology to Kenora
