My name is Jess Rheault and I was born and raised in the Kenora area, growing up at my parents’ tourist camp in Minaki. Having watched and experienced my parents build their business up from nothing – and by nothing I mean building a road and clearing land to build the camp- I was introduced at an early age to what hard work, dedication, exceptional customer service, the gift of gab and unconditional love can accomplish. It is these lessons that I apply to my every day life.

I graduated from Red River College’s Business Administration program acheiving honors with a Marketing Major in 2001. That same year, I married my high school sweetheart. We have two children. Our daughter Shai is 5 ½ and our son Jaden is 11 months.

My “spare” time is spent either at the soccer fields or the arena, where I’m either playing or coaching. I am heavily involved with both the Kenora Women’s Soccer League and The Lake of the Woods Soccer Association. For the last 9 years, I have been Treasurer and Tournament Chair for the Women’s League and Chairperson of the Association for the last 3 years.

It has taken a few job opportunities to get me to this point. I started at TD Canada Trust as a Customer Service Coordinator. From there I went to Dufresne Furniture as a Sales Consultant. After my daughter was born, I spent 4 years at Woodlake Marine as the Financial Services Manager and finally found my place at the Hospital Foundation.

As Managing Director, I have been given the opportunity to do something amazing. Every day I get to work with the community for the community, helping your hospital help you. As an added bonus, the position allows me to balance career and family, enabling me to give 100% to both.

The Hospital Foundation is the life line between you and your hospital. I welcome the challenge ahead and look forward to working with the community and our hospital in realizing capital needs that would otherwise be unattainable.
