More than Flowers for the Season

Safeway Charity Challenge team did it again!  Their fundraising efforts for the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation generated $21,311.00 for the charity.  The donation will be allocated for priorities in the hospital’s rehabilitation department.

Third Annual Lifesavers Dinner

The Lake of the Woods District Hospital will be holding its third annual Lifesavers Dinner on August 9, 2008 at the Royal Lake of the Woods Yacht Club.

Good Health is No Illusion

The Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation (LWDHF) was pleased to receive a $2,151 donation from the Kenora Professional Fire Fighters Association (KPFFA).  

All Star Team

The Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation benefited from a winning combination organized by the Kenora Safeway store. Local hockey hero Mike Richards put to auction his autographed 2008 Eastern All Star team jersey for his hometown hospital.

The Kenora District Credit Union will be sponsoring Deal or No Deal on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 8:00 pm on the Harbourfront under the tent. Two individuals will be chosen among the tickets purchased to try their luck at winning up to $1000.

Kenora Hydro Supplies Breakfast and the Hospital Foundation Raises Close to $1000!

The Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation would like to thank Kenora Hydro for hosting a free pancake breakfast on May 4, 2008 and all the individuals who attended and donated to the Hospital Foundation.
