Forest Helicopters lifts us closer to Digital Mammography!

Linda and Amy Stevenson (pictured above with Diagnostic Imaging manager, Ange Schussler, and Jess Rheault) from Kenora’s Forest Helicopters came out to present us with $10,000 to go towards the purchase of a Digital Mammography machine. Linda, Bart and their team at Forest Helicopters have been incredible supporters of LWDHF. We wish them continued success in their business, and enormous thanks for their commitment to our hospital!

Think Pink!

Tina and her team at the Plaza restaurant held a ‘Pink Party’ to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer on October 22. Thanks to all those who attended, and bid on the ‘Pink Basket’, $4,000 was raised to help bring Digital Mammography to Kenora! A large part of the $4,000 was the incredible Eli Blosser, who underwent a $2,500 haircut for the cause.
