Memorial Gifts

A memorial gift to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation provides a meaningful way to remember your loved ones.

Family and friends have an opportunity to donate towards a lasting tribute set up as a memorial fund. Memorial gifts are recognized on the Donor Board when accumulated donations for the fund reach $1000.

All gifts generate an acknowledgement card which is processed according to the donor’s instructions.

A contribution demonstrates your feelings & thoughtfulness. A life is remembered and the exemplary healthcare services of Kenora are supported.

There are currently over 200 memorial funds recognized on the hospital’s Donor Board with several more funds nearing the recognition threshold. Regular contributions by donors continue to raise the balances in each fund.

You may wish to consider topping up a memorial fund during the Tree of Life Campaign which is conducted during the Christmas season. Our office would be pleased to provide you with any additional information you require.
