From the end of January until Carnival Kick-off on March 4th, 8 local charities hit the streets with colored Winter Carnival Buttons in effort to raise funds for both the Winter Carnival, and their respective Charities.
Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation took on the challenge of selling the allotted 2000 buttons and came finished in 2nd place! With several local businesses and individuals selling teal buttons on our behalf, we were able to sell 1249 buttons and raise approximately $1200 for us, and $1200 for the Winter Carnival!
Thanks to everyone who purchased our teal buttons, and to those who purchased buttons from any or all of the other participating charities. This was a great way to support many of the great causes in our community!
